What is
great staff development program? A program that increase student
achievement, that fits the goals of NCLB, will generate teacher enthusiasm, and
one that changes attitudes toward mathematics. Can any program do all
these things? It is hard to find. However, Mastering Math workshops
hit the mark on each criteria. Our state Stat 10 scores went from below
the state average to above average. I encourage anyone in staff
development to use this program, you will not be disappointed! Mary Ellen Johnson, Director of Instruction, Pierre, SD
